Thank you for having us Positive: The location was great. It felt like an actual home. Negative: It is old and worn but that we could relax as it wasn’t too perfect.

Good location. Hosts are nice. Home in desperate need of repairs. Positive: Location was great. Close to shops and the beach. Negative: The property was a lot older than the pictures made it appear. A lot of upgrades are needed throughout the home. One of the beds broke while we were sleeping as well.

Worst property we have stayed in in 20 years. Terrible communication with hosts. Positive: Location Negative: Communication with the hosts was very poor. No responses to questions. Whilst not expecting an older property to be perfect, for the asking price of $550 per night I think that you can expect that at least facilities would be in usable condition and not broken. The general condition of the property is extremely poor. There is peeling and damaged paint everywhere. Doors, walls, ceilings and bench tops. The couches are badly stained, as is the carpet. There is a blanket hiding tears in one lounge chair. The rugs and blankets provided are very dirty, and some have holes in them. There are 4 windows which cannot be either opened or closed, mostly in bedrooms, the one place where it is more important. The winders are jammed or broken. The upstairs bedroom has no blind or curtain at all on one window, the sliding door barely moves unless you force it. The shower screen in the upstairs bathroom is broken and does not slide properly. The downstairs bedrooms have both got missing / broken blinds, the one at the front corner near the driveway has no curtain or blackout, only a light screen which does not provide any privacy from the street. The brackets and rollers are there, the blinds have gone missing. The screen door at the back near the dining table does not work, needs to be shoved. The front screen door is torn in several places making it unusable as an insect screen. Several wardrobe doors have no handles. The kitchen bench is peeling and badly stained making it unsanitary. The dishwasher is missing slides and other parts internally, and appears not to function at all. Some of the provided knives are rusty and unusable. The pots and pans are mostly teflon coated and the finish on all of them is badly damaged. The general cleanliness is very average, with toilets stained and not well cleaned. The beds are passable, but not comfortable. Everything from the house to the garden reeks of years of neglect.
